Louth County Council have Submitted two Part 8 planning applications for the extension of the Carlingford Lough Greenway earlier this month. A Proposal of Application Notice (PAN) will be submitted in Northern Ireland this month.
The realisation of a Carlingford Lough Greenway joining Newry to Carlingford is one step closer. Planning decisions for the Part 8 Applications are expected later this year and will be the next step to the realisation of a 20km Greenway joining Newry to Carlingford via Omeath.
